INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Municipality of Bantayan through its Bids and Awards Committee invites Contractors registered with and Classified by the Phil. Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) to apply for eligibility, to bid for the contract:

Brief Description          :    Demolition (5.79%), roofing & roof framing (80.60%), Concrete Works (13.61%)

Approved Budget

for the Contract         :    Php 2,000,000.00

Contract Duration        :    85 calendar days commencing from Day 1 of the Demolition Phase

Prospective bidders should posses a valid PCAB License applicable to the contract, have completed a similar contract within the last two (2) years, and have key personnel and equipment available for the prosecution of the contract.  The Bids and Awards Committee will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids.  The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statements and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR-A)

The BAC Secretariat will issue to prospective bidder’s Eligibility Forms upon the submission of a Letter of Intent. Prospective bidders shall submit the Eligibility Requirements to and may also obtain the results of the Eligibility Check from the BAC Secretariat. The BAC will issue Bidding Documents including Plans and Specification only to bidders declared by the BAC to be eligible for the bidding upon payment of a non-refundable amount of ten thousand pesos (Php10,000.00) to the Municipal Treasury Office.

The Municipality of Bantayan assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids and, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any defect or informality in the bids, declare a failure of bidding or not to award the contract.
